Joginder Singh Sadhra has been a Trustee of Guru Nanak Mission Medical & Educational Trust (GNMMET) for over 30 years.
Joginder Singh’s experience includes a distinguished entrepreneurial career. He founded his business in England in 1973, having started in manufacturing. He later moved on to real estate development. His administrative, financial and managerial skills now contribute to his role with GNMMET.
Joginder Singh was born in Kaleran, less than 1km away from the GNMMET campus. He has supported the non-profit work of the organisation since its inception in 1981.
In 1986, along with friends, he took a leading role by hosting the GNMMET President and Founder, S. Budh Singh Dhahan, in England. He helped raise funds for the expansion of its hallmark project, Guru Nanak Mission Hospital Dhahan Kaleran. Leading by example, he personally contributed funds and inspired his extensive network of family and friends to donate.
Joginder Singh continued to support the overall mission of the organisation with his time, as well as regular donations. For example, he has contributed to the construction of Guru Nanak Mission Public School.
In 2005, Joginder Singh was invited to be part of a delegation alongside the Indo British Trade Council. The aim of the delegation was to enhance trade relations between the United Kingdom and India.
While at home, Joginder Singh takes joy in mentoring his two grandsons in their family enterprise.
